Dear Lomothrawen,
We are delighted to inform you that you have been selected to
participate in the next phase of the European Beta of Dungeons and
Dragons Online(tm): Stormreach(tm) (DDO), which starts on 2nd February!
In order to take part in the beta test you will need
to:
- Be over 18 years of age
- Be able to download a 1.7GB+ client
- Have a broadband connection
- We recommend you have an Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHz or compatible CPU
(must support SSE) with 1GB of RAM or more, Geforce FX or Radeon 9800
or better with 128MB, hard disk with 5GB free disk space for the best
experience If you cannot meet all of these requirements then you cannot
test DDO in this phase.
If you do meet all of these requirements then please read the
following instructions to get started on your way into Stormreach!
Instructions
1 - First of all you will need to set up a free Codemasters Online
Gaming (COG) account. To do this, go to
http://www.codemasters.com/cog/
and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account.
Once you have completed this section, an activation e-mail will be
sent to the e-mail address you provided. Check your e-mail and follow
the link to activate your account.
2 - Next you need to set up a subscription in your COG account.
Once your COG account is active, log into it to create a new subscription.
Click on the 'Click here to create a new subscription link'. From the
drop down product list, select Dungeons & Dragons Online BETA.
Enter your beta registration key in the next field. Your registration
key is:
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Important: If you attempt to use the registration key before the date
specified above, then you may receive an error.
Finally, type the word you see in the box to confirm you are human :-)
After submitting this information you should see a message saying
'Your subscription to Dungeons & Dragons Online BETA has been created
successfully.'
3 - Download and install the game client
If you haven't already done so, now's the time to download and
install the Dungeons and Dragons Online game client. You can download
it via our exclusive BETA download partner:
