剧情还是系统?
之前有L2和DER的比较,其中说到了剧情和系统的问题,正好我在玩重装机兵。。。突然灵光一闪,有了下文:
我不想比较L2和DER孰优孰劣,但是我特别喜欢研究游戏性(流畅度,平衡性,画面,音乐,剧情,合理性,可重复研究性,难度.......等等都会产生影响)
我比较同意Zancuro的说法,梦2被人称道,甚至被许多人列为和火纹,皇骑比肩的srpg,最大的原因还是其出色的游戏性(可玩性),对游戏性贡献最大的,我认为就是Zancuro兄所说的系统。srpg和rpg的大不同就在于:rpg比srpg更重视剧情,srpg比rpg更重视策略(strategy),
srpg的可玩性重点体现在策略部分,如果剧情是核心,干脆做成rpg得了。举个例:圣战系谱,其剧情人皆交口称赞,但我认为如果它的系统做得烂,也就是战斗很无趣的话,再好的剧情也没人去议论(srpg节奏慢,半天才有一点剧情看),也没人会反复通关的研究,出色的游戏性让我们觉得它好玩,神作,我们才会记住那么多的人物和他们身上发生的事。
反过来说:后来的梦3——梦5,我们普遍觉得不如梦2,最主要的原因就是游戏系统的更改降低了游戏性,这是后来梦战失败的根本原因,你记不住梦3--梦5的剧情,人物(它们的人设未必就不好,剧情未必就差),因为它们不好玩(比较过后),很多人没玩几下就摔手柄走人,就算有再好的剧情,看不到也白搭。尤其梦3的系统让许多老玩家不适应,这个系统后来也被抛弃(一大打击啊,后来的4回归到了2代的方式,可惜其它方面表现不够枪眼,在大作迭出的PS辉煌时期,真是生不逢时;终结的5代的指挥系统使得真实性增加,但是战术性打了折扣,令人叹息,还是3代的打击太厉害了,唉),美赛亚的创新精神不错,其实梦3--梦5的系统相比其他一些游戏有诸多优点,不过梦2的光环太耀眼,可谓成也梦2,败也梦2。。。不过值得欣慰的是,梦幻模拟战还是不朽的经典,被广大玩家追捧。。。
再举个例子,重装机兵(metal max)的剧情并不出众,但是其游戏性出众,于是才有了大批fans的追捧和狂热的研究,于是我们才记住了红狼,就像尝试着救乔安夫妇(圣战系谱)一样疯狂的想要拯救心目中的英雄。如果游戏性丧失,本来就不注重剧情的总装机兵就一无是处了。目前国外的Aeon Genesis(也就是AGTP)小组正在对其进行英文化85%。下面是英化小组的原话: (你可以登陆http://agtp.romhack.net/察看原文,如果无法进入,请使用欧洲代理服务器登陆)
Metal Max Returns, a remake of Metal Max (Famicom) for the Super Famicom, appears at first glance to be a fairly stereotypical RPG. Some careful observation and about half an hour's worth of gameplay later, and it reveals itself to be much, much more. Set in a gritty, post-apocalyptic/wild west hybrid environment, a nameless youth decides to become a Hunter, one who fights monsters and cashes in on bounties, usually with heavy artillery. Enter Metal Max's defining feature - tanks. You'll spend a lot of time playing with your tanks - twinking them out, customizing them, even attaching little baubles to their dashboards. Most of the game is spent with your tanks, but it's important that you don't ignore your human characters' development, because there will be times when you can't use your tanks.Metal Max is light on story, but heavy on gameplay. There's a ton of stuff to do, such as hunting the weekly bounty head, improving your Hunter rank, toying with your tanks, exploring, getting a tattoo. It's really up to you to figure out what you want to make of yourself in the wide world of Metal Max, but you'll have a blast doing so!As far as progress goes, nearly all of the main dialogue has been translated. There are some scattered menus using the large font that haven't been done and are crashing the game, and I haven't touched any of the graphical or 8x8 text yet, but I'm not imagining that those will be very tough. We can hope!
不是经典之作的话,人家哪儿会费力去搞英化。重装机兵之所以经典,就在于它出色的可玩性,这句话Metal Max is light on story, but heavy on gameplay最能说明问题。
所以我认为,游戏系统的好坏是决定其游戏性的根本要素(rpg算是例外,不过重装机兵又是个特例,唉),再辅以优秀的剧情,出色的画面,动听的音乐......这样的作品才
能成为真正的经典。而且往往因为游戏本身好玩,我们才会对其剧情津津乐道(就算是以剧情为看点的rpg,系统不好也会让人大为扫兴)
